PALM COAST, Fla. — Lady Tiger golf fell off the pace by six strokes today and dropped to third place but made the cut at the NCCAA Women's Golf Championship at Hammock Beach Resort- Conservatory Course.
Junior
Kylie Withrow led Campbellsville with a six-over 78 and jumped to a tie for ninth place. Withrow finished with seven bogeys but was able to roll in her loan birdie on the par-four 15
th to pace CU.
Fellow junior
Michaela Jarman dropped back four places on the leaderboard to 11
th place. After going out at two-over 38, Jarman bogeyed four and doubled another on her final nine holes to shoot 42 on the back and 80 for the round.
Devany Cope and
Kayla Rodgers both dropped back a few strokes from their opening rounds. Cope shot an 83 and is tied for 18
th, while Rodgers shot an 85 and is tied for 26
th.
Freshman
Kristen Miller improved from her first-round 90 with an 84. Miller started slow with three double bogeys in her first four holes but rallied on her final nine holes with six pars jumping up to 36
th on the leaderboard.
Dallas Baptist University has ran away with the team tournament and leads by 56 strokes over Biola University. DBU has all five players in the Top 5 of the individual leaderboard, as Brinn Fariss leads the field by two strokes after firing 77-68 in the first two rounds.
Campbellsville (644) sits in third place by five strokes ahead of Bethel College (649).
The Lady Tigers will tee off in the final round of the NCCAA Championship on Wednesday morning at approximately 9:30 a.m. ET.
