Warman finishes in Top 10 at NCCAA Men's Golf Championship to earn All-American honors

PALM COAST, Fla. — Justin Warman finished in the Top 10 at the NCCAA Men's Golf Championship to earn All-American status at Hammock Beach Resort's Conservatory Course.

Warman, who qualified as an individual by placing seventh through the first two rounds, shot a six-over 78 today to drop back to 10th.

His day started early at 7:40 a.m. and was up-and-down from the get-go. Warman traded off bogey's and birdies throughout the first five holes to be at one-over through five. He dropped back two more strokes with a double on the par-four seventh but pared out to finish the front at 39.

On the back, Warman was steady with four-straight pars but tripled the 14th and bogeyed the 17th. He finished strong, though, with a birdie on the par-five 18th to get his round to a 78.

Chase Carlson finished with medalist honors after firing 68-72-73 for Colorado Christian. He out-paced Nick Schad of Indiana Wesleyan by three strokes.

Colorado Christian (885) earned the honor of NCCAA Champions after beating Dallas Baptist University (899) by four strokes.
