Unbeatens square off when No. 20 Football hosts No. 9 Georgetown for Homecoming on Saturday

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – A top-20 matchup is on tap for Saturday afternoon as the 20th-ranked Campbellsville football team host's ninth-ranked Georgetown College for Homecoming from Citizens Bank at Finley Stadium with the opening kick at 2:01 p.m. ET.

Kickoff on Saturday is set for 2:01 p.m. ET in honor of the late Ron Finley who would give his players a time that they would remember. Coach Finley – who coached the Tiger football program from 1987 until 2002 – was a stickler for the motto "if you are early, you are on time and if you are on time, you are late."

Fans can tune into the game on WLCU-TV (Comcast Channel 10), the CU Sports Network and 88.7 The Tigers. Coverage beings at 1:30 p.m. ET with The Tiger Tailgate Show.

This is the first time in 28 matchups that both teams enter the matchup without a loss. Each previous meeting had one team with at least one loss on the year.

Campbellsville moved to 6-0 on the season after picking up a 52-7 victory over Ave Maria University on the road. In the game, Hunter Brown threw for 323 yards and four touchdowns in two and half quarters of action. Georgetown defeated Kentucky Christian University in its last game, 59-0, to push its record to 6-0. Georgetown racked up 401 rushing yards in the game led by Jordan Bond with 125 yards on 12 touches.

On the season, Georgetown has boasted one of the top defenses in the nation ranking fourth in total defense (269.7), rushing defense (83.8) and scoring defense (16.0). Georgetown was allowed opponents to gain just 84 first downs this season and the opposition has converted just 17.6 percent of fourth downs – both rank second in the NAIA.
