LEMONT, Ill. — Lady Tiger golf remained steady in the final round of the Lewis University Intercollegiate to finish in third place at Cog Hill Golf Course and Country Club.
Campbellsville fired a final round 351 to finish with a total of 708 - 25 strokes behind the leaders from Lewis University (683). Drury University finished three strokes ahead of CU with a 705.
Kylie Withrow fell off the top of the leaderboard after her first round 79 with a second round 85. She finished in a tie for second place with Lewis University's Kasey Kane (+20).
Withrow's first-round 79 was one of only two scores in the 70s all week at Cog Hill, which features over 90 bunkers and has been the host of the PGA Tour's BMW Championship four separate times.
Campbellsville's
Kristen Miller also finished in the Top 10 after firing 89-88 in the two rounds. She moved up one spot to be tied for ninth.
Devany Cope moved down two positions after falling off the pace today by two strokes. She finished with 90-92 to place tied for 13
th.
Michaela Jarman made the biggest jump up the leaderboard after improving eight positions. Jarman finished 13 strokes better than Monday's first round with scores of 99-86 to place in solo 16
th.
Lastly,
Brianna Wright rounded out Campbellsville's Top 5 scores with 157-129 in her two rounds to place 30
th.
The Lady Tigers will now travel to Valdosta, Ga. for the Thomas University Classic at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club on Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 9-10.
