CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Lady Tiger soccer returns home this week to host a pair of Mid-South Conference opponents, as Cumberland University travels to Tiger Town on Tuesday night.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET tonight at Finley Stadium and Citizens Bank Field. Fans can follow along on the CU Sports Network for live video and stats.
Campbellsville enters tonight with a 2-8-1 record and 0-0-1 inside the Mid-South Conference. The Lady Tigers are coming off a 1-1 tie at rival Georgetown College last week and a 4-0 loss on the road at No. 1 Martin Methodist. CU has six remaining games on its schedule - all conference matches with four at home and two on the road.
The Phoenix, who are receiving votes in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, enter tonight with a 5-3-1 record and is 1-0 inside conference play after defeating University of the Cumberlands last week, 4-0.
Cumberland is coming off another win, 2-0, over No. 9 University of Mobile.
The Phoenix are led offensively by Emily Shires and and Mariah Aplin. The duo has scored five goals each, while Rebecca Holloway had four goals and six assists and Savannah Moreland had delivered four goals and five assists.
Overall as a team, Cumberland has out-scored its opponents, 27-13.
After tonight's game, CU will host University of Pikeville on Friday night at 6 p.m.
