PIKEVILLE, Ky. — This weekend, Lady Tiger basketball is playing in the second of four round robin tournaments scheduled for the fall semester. Campbellsville is traveling to Pikeville, Ky. and will play West Virginia Tech and Central Methodist University at the East Kentucky Expo Center.
Campbellsville, which started the season 4-0, will play WVU Tech on Friday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. and No. 15 Central Methodist University on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. ET.

Campbellsville is coming in after a 91-59 rout over No. 25 Talladega College on Tuesday night in the home opener. CU used a 30-6 run in the middle of the second and third quarters and Talladega was never able to recover.
Junior
Madison Stewart scored 14 points to lead Campbellsville, while freshman Shyla Calbert scored a career-high 11 in 10 minutes of action off the bench.
On the 34 baskets by CU, 24 of those came off an assist as Clements and Stewart both finished with four, while
Caitlin Hall and
Madison Kaiser had three.
In the first four games, CU has outscored opponents by an average of 23.5 points and totals almost 80 per game. The offense is hitting 51 percent form the floor and ranks No. 4 in the NAIA.
The biggest stat, though, is the offense. Like many
Ginger Colvin teams it's the defense leading to offense. The Lady Tigers are tops in the nation by averaging 19.2 steals per game and fifth with 77 total steals. CU has also hit the defensive glass hard with 27.7 defensive rebounds per game - ranking No. 2 in the NAIA.
Madison Clements leads CU by averaging 14.8 points per game and is second with 17 rebounds.
Madison Stewart is right behind Clements in the scoring column with 11.5 points and leads the team by grabbing 5.5 boards a game.
West Virginia Tech enters the weekend with a 3-3 record. The Golden Bears won their season opener at home over Bluefield, 78-68 but lost three in a row to No. 5 Shawnee State (94-69), Mount Vernon Nazarene (71-70) and Bluefield (62-53). WVU Tech has one their last three games on the road in Pennsylvania - 101-53 over Penn State Fayette and 107-1 over Penn State Worthington.
WVU Tech is led by Savannah Shamblin's and Brittany Justice's 11.7 points per game.
The Golden Bears will play Campbellsville and University of Pikeville this weekend from the Mid-South Conference.
Central Methodist is also playing UPIKE and CU but enters with a 3-1 record. The Eagles only loss of the year was to Tabor University, 67-49.
Brandi Henton leads the Eagles by averaging 23 points per game - No. 3 in the NAIA - and is third in the nation by grabbing 9.2 defensive boards a game.
Last season, Central Methodist reached the NAIA Championship Tournament but fell to Lindsey Wilson College in the Sweet 16, 89-72.
