KISSIMMEE, Fla. — For the first time since 2012, Campbellsville men's soccer is competing in the NCCAA Semifinal, as the Tigers face Southwestern Christian University today at 2 p.m. ET.

Campbellsville enters the semifinal round after a scoreless draw with Southern Wesleyan and 1-0 victory over Bethel College in Pool Play action. The lone goal for CU in the first two games came from
Nathan Heath in the 66
th minute vs. the Pilots.
The Tigers earned four points in Pool B to advance into the semifinal round. CU was the lone team in the championship field to not allow a goal and scored one itself. Bethel College was close behind with three points in Pool B.
Southwestern Christian matched Bethesda with six points in Pool A and Pool C, respectively. The Eagles scored four goals and allowed only one in their Pool Play games. The Eagles defeated Grace College (4-2) and Bluefield College (4-3) in overtime for their two wins.
Campbellsville enters the semifinal with a 14-4-2 record, while Southwestern Christian is 19-5-1. The Eagles are 3-0 at neutral site, while CU is 2-1-1.
Southwestern is led in scoring by Igor Stojanovic with 18 goals and 10 assists. Matheus Goviea has notched 12 goals and eight assists.
In goal, Caleb Swanepoel has allowed 20 goals and recorded 67 saves on the year. He has also shutout six teams this year and carries a 9-2 record.
The Tigers are led by
Ignacio Mangada's 13 goals on the year but he hasn't scored in almost a month, in CU's win over UPIKE on Nov. 2.
In the other semifinal match, Indiana Wesleyan and Bethesda are also playing at 2:00 for a chance to advance to championship match on Saturday. That match is slated for 4 p.m. ET at Austin-Tindall Regional Park.
