No. 3 Campbellsville tips off vs. University of Mobile on Friday night at 7 p.m. ET

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — For just the fourth time this season, Lady Tiger basketball returns home to the Powell Athletic Center after a lengthy road trip. Campbellsville hosts University of Mobile on Friday night for the first of three straight home games.

Tip-off between third-rank Lady Tigers and Rams is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Matt Payton, in his first year as Voice of Lady Tiger Basketball, will be calling the game on the CU Sports Network starting at 6:45. Fans can hear Payton's call on 88.7 The Tiger, while live video will be available on campbellsvilletigers.com.

With only its fourth home game on the season, the Lady Tigers (12-2) are at the beginning of a three-game home stand. After Friday night, the Lady Tigers will host NAIA D2 member Stillman College on Tuesday, Jan. 2 before starting Mid-South Conference play vs. rival Georgetown College on Saturday, Jan. 6.

This will be the seventh meeting between the two programs, as CU owns a 5-1 record. The lone loss in the series came in the 2004 season, as the Lady Tigers fell, 75-70. The Lady Tigers defeated the Rams last season in the Mid-South Conference/Southern States Athletic Conference on Dec. 17, 2016, 65-49.

The Mobile Rams enter tonight with an 8-4 record and 1-2 inside the Southern States Athletic Conference. The Rams are coming off an 80-50 loss at home to conference foe Loyola and are in the middle of a three-game road swing.

Sophomore guard Ryann Sylvester leads the Rams by averaging 11.8 points per game, while freshman forward Artasia McDowell grabs just shy of nine rebounds per game.

The Rams lost four starters from last years NAIA Tournament squad, including Starla Daggan who averaged 20 points per game and Kali Koenig who scored 16.5 points per game.

As a team, the Rams rank No. 12 in offensive rebounds per game (16.1) and No. 16 in rebounding margin (9.9).
