Campbellsville enters the night ranked No. 6 and Talladega is No. 25 in the NAIA Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll but the first regular season will be revealed today around 5 p.m. ET.

Entering tonight, CU has played six games against ranked or receiving votes opponents and the Lady Tigers have a 5-1 record against those teams. But the two games that have been played in Talladega, Ala., the Tornadoes have snuck out an 83-79 win and last year CU rallied late to earn a one-point victory, 73-72. When playing in neutral sites or in Campbellsville, CU has dominated with an average margin of victory of 24 points.

In the earlier matchup, CU used a 30-6 run in the third and fourth quarters to outpace Talladega in the home opener at Powell Athletic Center on Nov. 14., 91-58. Junior Madison Stewart scored 14 points to lead CU, while freshman Shyla Calbert scored a career-high 11 in 10 minutes of action off the bench. On the 34 baskets by CU, 24 of those came off an assist as Madison Clements and Stewart both finished with four, while Caitlin Hall and Madison Kaiser had three.

The Lady Tigers are coming in after breaking multiple program records vs. Simmons College of Kentucky last Tuesday night in a 125-39 win. The 125 points is the second-most points in a game and the 86-point margin of victory is also the largest in program history.

Later in the week, CU traveled to Cumberland University to face Carver College and forced a season-high 41 turnovers in the 86-45 win. The 41 mishaps for Carver was the most CU has forced since Nov. 10, 2005 when it turned Grace College over 44 times.

Redshirt freshman Savannah Gregory has sparked Campbellsville in the first 10 games of the year. After not playing for a year and a half due to injuries, Gregory's using her offense and defense to give the Lady Tigers a boost. She leads CU by averaging 13.2 points per game and is hitting 61 percent from the floor – ranked No. 5 in the NAIA – 50 percent from behind the 3-point line, and 83 percent from the free throw line. Defensively, she ranks No. 6 in the NAIA in steals with 29.

Talladega is led by Carla Clemmons' 15 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. She's flanked on the wing by point guard Deshanna Cook's 11.6 points per game and team-leading 24 3-point baskets. The Tornadoes have yet to see any action from Jasmine Stackhouse, who scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds per game last season. Stackhouse was named to the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Preseason Team.

Talladega enters the night after losing four of its last six games. The Tornadoes lost recently to Mid-South Conference foe Lindsey Wilson College, 70-55, on Saturday afternoon in Columbia.

Tipoff between the Lady Tigers and Tornadoes is slated for 6:30 p.m. in Talladega, Ala.
