Higgins and Johnson pace Tigers to 11th in opening round of Georgetown Invitational

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Tiger golf sits in 11th place after the first round of the Georgetown College Invitational hosted at The Slammer and The Quire.

James Higgins led CU with an opening round 77 and was followed with Robbie Johnson's 79.

Justin Warman (82), Justin Riffle (83( and Andrew Scalos (85), rounded out the Tigers scoring.

In the team standings, Indiana Tech sits in first place with a score of 295. Dalton State sits directly behind them in second at 296 and is followed by William Carey (301), Point University (303) and St. Andrews University (303).

Campbellsville sits in 11th place with an opening round score of 321 - +33.

Complete information for individual standings was not available from the host school Georgetown College. More information will be posted after Round 2 starting on Tuesday morning.
