BILLINGS, Mont. — Oklahoma City's Daniela Wallen and Daniela Galindo scored a combined 63 points and the Lady Tigers turned the ball over a tournament-high 21 times, falling to the Stars in the NAIA Fab Four on Monday night, 87-78.
Campbellsville's season ends with a 28-7 record and its second Fab Four appearance in three years, while the Stars improve to 33-2 and will play the winner of Lewis-Clark State and Vanguard in the finals on Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET. OCU is seeking its second title in three years after defeating the Lady Tigers in the 2015 championship game.
Madison Stewart scored a career-high 21 points for Campbellsville – 12 of those in the first half – on 9-of-12 shooting.
Madison Clements nailed a career-high six 3-point baskets and pitched in 20 points.
Lauren Turner finished with nine assists – one away from her career-high, which was reached in the opening game of the 2017 tournament vs. Talladega College.
Wallen scored 33 points to lead all scorers with Galindo pitched in 30 for the Stars.
The biggest stat was the shooting percentage and fouls. Both teams lit it up overall but Oklahoma City one-upped the Lady Tigers by hitting 59 percent from the floor. CU didn't struggle, though, hitting 50 percent itself and knocking down 11-of-29 3-pointers.
The fouls were also in favor of the Stars. OCU was called for 12 fouls, compared to 21 for CU. OCU made 24-of-29 free throws, while Galindo nailed 12-of-13 to lead OCU. Campbellsville made all seven of its shots and the Lady Tigers finished the tournament by hitting 61-of-66 from the free throw stripe.
Both teams came flying out of the gates, scoring a combined 47 points in the first quarter and the Stars leading 24-23. It was the Madisons that came out firing for CU. Stewart scored the games first four points and 10 of the Lady Tigers first 16. Clements added the other six with her first two 3s in the the opening three-plus minutes. But it was Wallen and Brooke Irwin scoring a combined 17 points for OCU.
Oklahoma City out-scored Campbellsville 22-15 in the second quarter and took advantage of six Lady Tiger turnovers with 10 points. Clements gave CU a 30-28 lead after making a pair of free throws but Galindo answered just 10 seconds later with one of her two 3-pointers.

Madison Faulkner putting Campbellsville ahead, 32-31.
Emily Fox tied the game at 35-all with one of her four 3s but the Stars finished the half on a 15-7 run sparked by nine-straight points by Galindo.
With the Stars leading 46-38, it was Campbellsville's first time trailing at the intermission break the entire tournament.
Galindo put the Stars ahead by their largest lead of 10 points, 48-38, to open the half. Both teams traded runs in the third quarter, as the Stars would go up by 10 and Campbellsville was able to cut the deficit to five. That sequence happened thee separate times - the final one coming after a Clements triple with 28 seconds left in the quarter, cutting the deficit to 61-56. Galindo made a couple free throws pushing OCU's lead back to seven points, 63-56.
In the fourth quarter, Campbellsville had one final push after the Stars led 72-62 with 5:23 left. CU was sparked by three consecutive
Jordan Doram baskets and cut the lead to four points, 73-69 with 4:21 left. But the Stars answered with a pair of free throws by each Wallen and Galindo and Alexis Hill put OCU ahead by eight, 79-71.
Clements made her final 3 with 2:34 left but Oklahoma City ended the game on an 8-4 run to end the Lady Tigers hopes of an upset.
