GULF SHORES, Ala. – A team of Kelvin Fields,
Brandon Battle,
Jaron Jackson and
Jordan Thomas are bringing home All-American honors upon completion of the 2017 NAIA Championships at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium.
After placing eighth in preliminaries on Thursday, the quad completed finals for the 4x100-meter relay today, finishing in seventh-place with a time of 41.82.
Junior
Adam Sandidge qualified for finals in the 5,000-meter run on Friday with a 10
th-place finish in preliminaries. He finished finals in the same place with a time of 15:39.86.
As a team, the Tigers finished the championship with five team points. British Columbia grabbed their first-ever title with a total of 71 points.
