COLUMBIA, Ky. — Junior
Michaela Jarman fired a four-over 76 to lead the Lady Tigers in the opening round of the Lindsey Wilson College Fall Classic at The Pines.
As a team, Campbellsville sits in third place (321) – 12 strokes behind the leaders and host Lindsey Wilson College (309).
Jarman's 76 was good enough to tie her for fifth place with Lindsey Wilson's Shayna Cockrill.
Campbellsville's four individuals in the field are all in the Top 27, as
Sarah Dickens fired a career-low seven-over 79 to be tied for 11
th.
Junior
Kylie Withrow is tied for 17
th after an opening round 81. Sophomore
Kayla Rodgers is close behind with an 85 to sit tied for 27
th.
Individually, Katie Giant and Loren Kreider from Indiana Tech lead the field with matching 73s. Lindsey Wilson's Tara Rodenhurt finished with a 74 and Point University's Courtney Lowery fired a 75.
No. 25 Lindsey Wilson leads the 10-team tournament with a 309. Indiana Tech is three strokes behind (312), while Campbellsville is nine strokes out of second and 12 out of first (321). Point University (329), Midway University (330) and Georgetown College (338) are all within striking distance and sitting in fourth to sixth place, respectively.
The second round of the Lindsey Wilson Fall Classic is expected to start at 9 a.m. ET at The Pines in Columbia.
