Football game vs. Warner scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled due to Hurricane Irma

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Hurricane Irma has once again wreaked havoc with the upcoming football games in the southeastern United States this weekend forcing the Campbellsville - Warner University matchup to be cancelled.

Warner University, located in Lake Wales, Fla., has been forced to evacuate due to the Hurricane and travel plans after the already rescheduled game for Friday night would have put the team arriving back in Lake Wales on Saturday night - just before the Hurricane hits.

Due to the safety concerns for the Warner University football team, the game has been cancelled and a make-up date will not be scheduled due to not having a common bye-week.

With the cancellation, the Tigers will now have two weeks to prepare for it's trip to Naples, Fla. as they travel to Ave Maria University on Saturday, Sept. 16. This game could also be in jeopardy depending on the relief efforts after Hurricane Irma.
