No. 3 Lady Tigers look to extend win streak on the road at Life University

MARIETTA, Ga. — For just the third time this season, the third-ranked Lady Tigers are playing a true road game, as Campbellsville has hit the road as far south as it will go in the regular season.
 
Campbellsville tips off with Life University at 2 p.m. ET in the Eagles' Nest. Coverage will begin on 88.7 The Tiger starting at 1:45 p.m. ET, as the Voice of the Tigers Matt Payton is joined by Zach Clements this weekend.
 
The Lady Tigers are entering Saturday afternoon with a five-game win streak and are looking to extend that before returning to the Powell Athletic Center for a three-game home stand starting next Thursday.

Life University enters the weekend with a 7-7 record and has lost its last two games to start conference play. The Running Eagles have lost three of their last four games, with the lone win over Bryan College (77-72). After Saturday, Life hits the road for four away games starting next week.
 
Campbellsville improved to 16-2 overall and 2-0 inside MSC play after a 69-60 win over University of the Cumberlands on Thursday night. The Lady Tigers won their fifth-straight game with Madison Kaiser and Madison Clements scoring 13 points each. Jordan Doram finished a rebound shy of a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.

  • CU and Life are meeting for the third time.
  • Life started its basketball program in the 2016-17 season and joined the Mid-South Conference the year before.

  • CU won game one in the Eagles' Nest, 88-49, after a 17-4 run late in the second quarter put separation between the two.
  • Madison Clements and Jordan Doram both led CU with 12 points apiece.
  • In game two, CU won 103-65 on Senior Day.
  • Emily Fox led the LTB seniors with 11 points, while the most fitting of them all was LeeAnn Grider scoring three points after her career ended in December to another ACL injury.
