Tiger and Lady Tiger soccer complete MSC road slate on Saturday at Cumberlands

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Tiger and Lady Tiger soccer hit the road Saturday afternoon for their final Mid-South Conference road matches as Campbellsville plays University of the Cumberlands. 
 
Kickoff for the Lady Tigers is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. and the Tigers will follow at approximately 2:30 p.m. in Williamsburg, Ky. Fans can follow the match via live video and stats at the links above.
 

Lady Tigers vs. Patriots:
  • The Lady Tigers enter the weekend with an 9-5 record and 3-2 inside MSC play.
  • CU sits in fourth place in the MSC standings – a ½ game behind Cumberland University which is 3-1 inside MSC play. Lindsey Wilson is 4-0-1 to sit atop the MSC standings. 
  • Cumberlands enters the weekend with a 3-0-1 MSC record and 14-1-1 overall.
  • Campbellsville has won four of its last five games, including three conference matches over Shawnee State University (6-1), Life University (4-2) and University of Pikeville (5-0).
  • The Lady Tigers are seeking to end the year above .500 in MSC road games. CU lost to Cumberland University 4-0 but defeated UPIKE on Wednesday, 5-0, to even its road record at 1-1 on the year.
  • Campbellsville is riding an eight-game winning streak over the Patriots with their last loss to UC coming in 2010 – a 3-2 overtime loss at home. 
  • CU has out-scored the Patriots 32-3 in that span.
  • The last time CU lost in Williamsburg came in the 2009 season – a 5-3 loss. 
  • Lakin Walls leads CU with 11 goals on the season. In her career, Walls has scored 20 goals overall. 
  • The Patriots are led by Jenna Rockwell's 10 goals, while Sara Randez has nine.
  • UC has out-scored its opponents, 53-11.

  • Cumberland University is a perfect 4-0 record in conference play but is 6-4-2 overall on the season. The Phoenix sit in first-place in the MSC.
  • Cumberlands is 7-3-2 overall and 4-1 inside MSC play. The lone MSC loss came to Lindsey Wilson College at home on Oct. 2, 2-0.
  • The Tigers have won four of their last six games vs. Bethel (1-0), Shawnee State (6-4) Life University (1-0) and Pikeville (2-1 in OT).
  • CU's two conference losses came to Lindsey Wilson (6-1) and Cumberland University (4-0).
  • The Tigers are riding an eight-game winning streak over the Patriots. 
  • CU's last loss to Cumberlands came in the 2011 season – a 2-0 loss in Williamsburg.
  • During that stretch, the Tigers have out-scored Cumberalnds, 21-4.
  • Troy Walters leads the Tigers with five goals on the year, while CU has scored 28 and allowed 23. Walters delivered the Golden Goal against UPIKE in 2OT on Wednesday.
