CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY –
Jordan Stallings picked up her first hat trick of her career this evening as the Lady Tigers routed Hiwassee 12-0 to win the NCCAA Mid-East Regional.
Stallings scored her first two goals on the year within a 90 second period of each other in the 34
th minute off a ball from
Sami Sears and the 36
th minute coming off a cross from
Shannon Ramey. She recorded the hat trick to finish off the night late in the second half in the 78
thminute
The Lady Tigers absolutely dominated in the shots category. They had 53 shots total on the night and put 29 of them on frame.
Molly Hall,
Hope Sanders,
Rachel Blumfeldt all scored a pair of goals together to end their night.
Sydney Pinkham had an easy night in the net as she only recorded one save on the evening.
CU scored eight first half goals to put the gap on Hiwassee and four second half goals to put the game on ice.
Lakin Walls,
Emma Nilsson, and
Claudia Eckstein joined the scoring party this evening as they all had a goal each.
With the win, the Lady Tigers now receive an automatic bid and will have over a week to prepare for their first match down in Kissimmee, Florida for the NCCAA National Championship.
