Heath, Walters and Edge push Tigers' NCCAA All-American total to 20 over last eight years

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced the 2018 Men's Soccer All-America Team and Campbellsville University had three Tigers mentioned.

Nathan Heath, Tom Edge and Troy Walters were all named NCCAA Second Team All-Americans the national office announced this week. The honor for Heath is his third NCCAA All-American mention in his career.

Walters led the Tigers with 10 goals on the year and also had three assists. He tallied his first-career hat trick with three scores against Oakland City University on Nov. 17. Walters also earned All-Tournament team honors after scoring five goals in the NCCAA Mid-East Regional Championship and two NCCAA Pool Play games.

Heath and Edge also had solid years offensively. Heath, a senior, finished with five goals and two assists and had two goals against Harris-Stowe for his lone multi-score game of the year.

Edge rounds out the Tigers on the All-America list with two goals and one assist in 19 games played.

Campbellsville finished the year with a 12-8 record and 5-2 inside Mid-South Conference Play. The Tigers' season ended in the NCCAA National Championship after making its sixth appearance.
