No. 5 Lady Tigers host Ohio Christian University on Saturday at 1:00

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville University women's basketball is 2-0 against teams it has played in previous years and the Lady Tigers are seeking to extend that into 3-0 as Ohio Christian comes to the Powell Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon. 
 
The contest is the third of five straight games at home as the No. 3 Lady Tigers and Trailblazers are meeting for the first time in program history at 1 p.m. ET. Coverage on the CU Sports Network begins at 12:45.  
 
The Lady Tigers are coming off back-to-back wins over the Virgin Islands on Tuesday and Wednesday - the first new opponent for CU this season. Lexy Lake has been the spark plug as of late, hitting 10 3-point baskets in the last two games and upping her average to 50 percent (19-of-38). 
 
Ohio Christian enters the week with a 1-9 record and has lost five straight games - including 102-75 to Rio Grande and 75-61 to West Virginia Tech. The two players to watch for Ohio Christian are Helaina Limas and Staci Dinsmore. Limas averaged 18.4 points per game, while Dinsmore is close to a double-double with 15 points per game and eight boards per contest.
 

Tiger Clawz:
  • Lexy Lake has scored 17 points and hit five 3-pointers in each of the last two games againstthe Virgin Islands on Tuesday and Wednesday. 
  • Madison Faulkner leads the Lady Tigers by averaging 13.2 points and 5.5 rebounds - both are season-highs for the junior forward.
  • Madison Kaiser scored a season-high 18 points vs. Davis & Elkins. She hit 4-of-5 3-point baskets to lead CU.
  • Caitlin Hall is averaging a season-high 7.2 assists per game. She's recorded games of 13 assists, 10, 9 and 7 assists three times.
  • CU has three Lady Tigers totaling double figures. In addition to Faulkner, Savannah Gregory averages 12.7 points, while Madison Kaiser is averaging 11.1.
  • In the Coach High Colvin era, the Lady Tigers have had three or more Lady Tigers average double-figures just four times.
  • CU is a perfect 7-0 this season against unranked opponents and has won 30-straight games against unranked teams.
BANG! Lexy Lake has stellar week thus far:
  • Freshman Lexy Lake had a coming out party scoring a career-high 17 points and splashing five 3-point baskets in the last two wins over UVI on Tuesday and Wednesday night.
  • Lake has hit a 3-pointer in every game she's seen action in this season. In the last four games, she's 15-of-28 from deep and 19-of-38 on the season - good for a team-high 50%.
  • Her 50% average is also good for eighth in the NAIA rankings.

  • The Lady Tigers played back-to-back games against the Virgin Islands on Tuesday and Wednesday before hosting Ohio Christian on Saturday.
