Warman rallied with second-round 74 to finish tied for 36th at Georgetown Invitational

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Justin Warman rallied today with a two-over 74 and jumped up the leaderboard 14 spots, while Campbellsville gained one position on the leaders to finish 12th at the Georgetown Spring Invitational.
 
Warman, who shot an 8-over 80 on Monday in the opening round, came back today with a 74 and jumped into a tie for 36th.
 
Freshman Austin Mahoney matched his first-round 79 with a matching seven-over 79 today to finish in a tied for 47th.
 
The Tigers had three golfers finish below 50thSeito Miyazaki (80-80, T52nd), Justin Riffle (81-80, T54th), and Tyler Harrod (86-78, T59th).
 
Coastal Georgia (579) faltered down the stretch today but hung on to win the team championship by six strokes over Dalton State (585) and Southeastern University (585).
 
Carlos Ardila from Southeastern shot 70-71 to win individual medalist honors by two strokes over P.J. Shields (69-74) from Dalton State and Rasmus Lind (71-72) of Lindsey Wilson.
 
Campbellsville is now scheduled to travel to the Cumberland University Spring Invitational on March 26-27 in Old Hickory, Ky.
