OWENSBORO, Ky. — Lady Tiger tennis picked up a pair of wins on Sunday afternoon at Brescia University. No. 18 Campbellsville won 6-0 over the host Bearcats and also swept Bethel University, 7-0.
Campbellsville (3-0) started the day with the 6-0 win over Brescia. The Bearcats were playing short-handed, only selecting two doubles teams but the Lady Tigers allowed out-scored Brescia 16-1 to lead 2-0 in the match.
In singles, CU out-scored Brescia 48-5 to sweep the Bearcats.
In the second match of the day, Campbellsville swept Bethel University 7-0.
Also only playing two doubles matches, the Lady Tigers out-scored the Wildcats 16-1. In singles, CU dominated all three matches to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Campbellsville will now travel to Centre College on Friday, March 3 with first serve scheduled for 3 p.m. ET in Danville.
