Top-ranked Georgia Gwinnett hands Lady Tigers first loss of the season, 9-0

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Lady Tiger tennis dropped its first match of the season on Wednesday afternoon, as No. 1 Georgia Gwinnett swept Campbellsville, 9-0.
 
The loss drops No. 17 Campbellsville to 8-1 overall, as GGC improves to 11-1.
 
The closes Campbellsville was able to get to the top-ranked Grizzlies came at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles. Majella Nobile lost 6-4, 6-1 in the third-seeded singles to Gabrielle Robinson.
 
At No. 2 doubles, Bolor Enkhbayar and Grace Rowe lost to Debora Scurt and Chiara Rebecchi, 8-3.
 
Campbellsville gets back in action on Monday, March 19 as the Lady Tigers host Mid-South Conference foe Cumberland University at 1 p.m. ET at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex.
