Tigers face fifth ranked opponent in six games and takes on No. 11 Montana Western on Friday

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville's men's basketball team continues its run in the NAIA National Championship against No. 11 University of Montana Western on Friday night at 5 p.m. ET from the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri.
 
The Tigers are the seventh seed in the Duer Bracket, while the Bulldogs are the third seed in the bracket. Jordan Alves and Benji Kelly will have the call on 88.7 The Tiger starting 15 minutes before tipoff on Friday.

The NAIA Network (www.NAIANetwork.com) – the association's official video streaming home – will broadcast the first 30 games leading up to the championship final on ESPN3. The video platform, powered by Stretch Internet, allows users access video, statistics, and social interaction on a number of devices, including mobile. Single-day passes can be purchased for $9.95, while an all-tournament package is available at $34.95.
 
On Thursday night, Campbellsville upset No. 6 Columbia College to pick up its fourth win over a ranked opponent in the last five games after the Tigers rallied to win, 75-66. Jalen Coates led the Tigers with 15 points and Hagen Tyler chipped in with 14 points. Andrew Smith and Shawn Johnson each tallied matching double-doubles with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Campbellsville shot lights out in the second half making 13-of-23 shots, compared to 12-of-33 in the first 20 minutes of the game.
 
Smith has paced the Tigers this season with 14.7 points per game and 8.9 rebounds. He is also shooting the ball at a 56.9 percent clip, despite going 5-for-15 from the floor on Thursday night. Tyler is the only other Campbellsville player to average double figures this season with 13.4 points. Coates is nearly at 10 points per game, but sits at 9.9 points a contest, and he is the team leader in assists (110) and steals (46) during his 34 games this year.
 
Montana Western comes into the contest on Friday with a record of 26-7 overall and it finished at 13-5 in the Frontier Conference. The Bulldogs earned their spot in the national tournament as an at-large team. They are making their 15th appearance at the national championship and fourth straight. After Montana Western defeated sixth-seeded Southwestern Assemblies of God University in the first round, 105-96, the Bulldogs are now 9-14 in the NAIA Tournament all-time.
 
Dom Robinson leads Montana Western with 17.5 points per game and he ranks in the top 10 in assists (fourth, 166) and assists per game (sixth, 5.0). The Bulldogs are one of the best shooting teams in the NAIA and shoot 50.7 percent from the floor, which is third best in the nation, while also ranking in the top 10 with 90.2 points per game. Brandon Jones is the team's leading rebounder with 7.3 per game and he is second on the team in scoring with 15.8 points per game.
 
Friday will be the first meeting between the two programs. This season, Campbellsville is 5-0 when facing an opponent for the first time.
