CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — No. 16 Lady Tiger tennis opened its home schedule this afternoon with a 7-2 win over Lake Superior State University.
The Lady Tigers dropped only two points – one in each singles and doubles.
Kaeda Amano set the tone with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Alexiann Drouin, while Bolor Enkhabayer had to rally at No. 2 singles for a 3-6, 5-2, 10-4 win over Tara Harvery.
Majella Nobile won in straight sets over Macarena Bielsa, 6-2, 6-3.
At Nos. 4-5 singles,
Grace Rowe and Brooklyn won their singles matches in pro sets, 8-1 and 8-3, respectively.
Bailey Decker was the only loss in singles with an 8-0 loss to Jenay Andrews.
In doubles, Amano and Nobile teamed up with an8-0 win, while Enhkbayar and Rowe won 8-6 at No. 2 doubles.
Harris and Decker slipped at No. 3 doubles, 9-8.
The Lady Tigers are back on the road Wednesday, March 7 as they travel to Asbury University.
