Tigers earn another Top 25 win as CU takes down No. 23 Indiana Wesleyan, 5-1

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Tiger tennis earned another Top 25 victory on the season by defeating No. 23 Indiana Wesleyan on Friday evening at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex, 5-1. 
 
Campbellsville (11-3) dropped only one point – No. 3 doubles, 8-6, by Austin Christner and Andrew Block upset Pablo Alonso Munoz. 
 
But the Tigers took a 2-1 lead after doubles, as Chrys Castro and Alejandro Reyes teamed up for an 8-3 win while Blayze O'Keefe and Martin Munoz won 8-4. 
 
In singles, the Tigers did not drop a match and three of them were unfinished due to time constraints. 
 
Reyes won at No. 1-seeded singled, 7-5, 6-0 over Gavin White, while Alonso Munoz defeated Jacob Rankin, 6-4, 6-0 at No. 4. Alex Spalding sealed the win for CU at sixth-seeded singles with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Grant Yager. 
 
The Tigers also played Cardinal Stritch on Friday evening and scored will be posted on Saturday.
