Seven strokes separate six teams at the MSC Men's Golf Fall Championship at StoneCrest

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — Six teams are separated by seven strokes or less after the opening round of the Mid-South Conference Fall Championship. 
 
Campbellsville men's golf is seven strokes back and sits in sixth place after an opening-round 297. The Tigers are behind Lindsey Wilson College (290), University of the Cumberlands (293), Cumberland University, Midway University and Georgetown College (294).
 
Junior Justin Warman led CU's charge with an opening-round 72 to be tied for fifth place. Then three-straight freshmen led the Tigers' top four golfers – Landon Conner is tied for 10thafter an opening round 73, while Seth Bohl is tied for 16th with a 74.

Rounding out the Tigers is freshman Jon Brewington as he's tied for 33rdwith a 78 and Austin Mahoney shot a 79 to sit in 37th
 
Two golfers sit atop the leaderboard, as Midway University's Brandon Cambron fired a three-under 69 along with Lindsey Wilson's Callum Blinhorn.
 
The second round of the fall championship is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. ET at Stone Crest Golf Club.
