Withrow fires one-over 73 to lead MSC Women's Golf Fall Championship at StoneCrest

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — Kylie Withrow fired a one-over 73 and leads the Mid-South Conference Women's Golf Fall Championship by two strokes.

Withrow, a senior from Glasgow, Ky., fired a 73 and leads Midway's Jenna Lewis and Lindsey Wilson's Bo Park after the two shot a three-over 75 in the opening round at StoneCrest Golf Club.

Withrow has already carded her second-lowest score of her career in 2018 with a 71 in the Bill Sergent Invitational at University of the Cumberlands. She has a career-low of 70 in her sophomore year.

After Withrow, the Lady Tigers stumbled a bit. Freshman Madison Ferrie is tied for 16^thafter an opening round 79, while senior Michaela Jarman is tied for 19^thwith an 81.

Cortney Withrow and Kristen Miller round out the Lady Tigers' Top 5. Withrow fired an 85, while Miller is tied for 38^thwith a 93.

Lindsey Wilson College leads the team tournament by five strokes after a 305. University of the Cumberlands (310), Cumberland University (316) and Midway University (317) are all in front of Campbellsville, which sits in fifth place.

The second round of the fall championship is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. ET at Stone Crest Golf Club.
