Kylie Withrow wins first-career tournament; Lady Tigers place fourth at MSC Fall Championship

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — Senior Kylie Withrow carded a one-under 71 in the final round of the Mid-South Conference Women's Golf Fall Championship to earn medalist honors on Sunday afternoon.

Withrow, from Glasgow, Ky., shot 73-71 and out-lasted Lindsey Wilson's Bo Park by one stroke (75-70) for her first collegiate win during her career.

The win puts Withrow at the top of the individual standings in the MSC Golfer of the Year race as the conference uses its three tournaments throughout the season to tally end of the year awards.

Withrow led Campbellsville to a fourth-place finish as Campbellsville jumped Midway University in the team standings today. The Lady Tigers shot 318-314 (632) to finish in fourth, while Lindsey Wilson shot 305-296 (601) to win the fall title. University of the Cumberlands (612) finished second, while Cumberland University (616) placed third.

Individually, freshman Madison Ferrie jumped up the leaderboard two spots after firing 79-78 and finishing tied for 14^th.

Senior Michaela Jarman struggled in her final round by falling off the pace seven positions. Jarman shot 81-84 overall to finish in a tie for 26.

Paige Ferguson, who was playing as an individual, shot 83-84 and finished tied for 30^th, while Kristen Miller improved her second round by 12 strokes. Miller shot 93-81 to finish in solo 33^rd.

Lastly, Cortney Withrow shot 85-91 and placed 34^thto round out the Lady Tigers.

Campbellsville will now have a week to prepare for its final regular season fall event at the Thomas University Invitational at Kinderlou Golf Club in Thomasville, Ga.
