GREENVILLE, S.C. – For the second time in as many weeks, Campbellsville University men's golf's
Justin Warman was selected as the top performer in the NCCAA as the organization named him the Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Warman and the Tigers had a solid performance at the NAIA Midwest Invitational hosted at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill., the same course that hosts the John Deere Classic on the PGA Tour.
Warman finished in a tie for eighth place with a final score of 147 (+5) after rounds of 71 (E) and 76 (+5) to finish five strokes behind the three-way tie for first. CU finished in seventh place as a team with a final score of 606 (+38) after entering the final day of competition in fourth place.
The men's and women's golf teams are currently competing in Palm Coast, Fla. in the first day of the NCCAA National Championship as competition will continue over the next two days.
