Lady Tiger golf falls to third overall at NCCAA Championship

PALM COAST, Fla. — Lady Tiger golf took a mini step back in the second round of the NCCAA Championship and fell to third place entering the final round on Wednesday. 
 
Campbellsville shot a 333 as a team and were jumped by Erskine College after they fired a new tournament-low score for a team, 317. They are now tied with Grace College for the team lead. 
 
Individually, Gracie Parrott shot a seven over 79 on the Ocean Course at Hammock Beach Resort. Parrott moves to solo fourth in the standings and is one of two Lady Tigers in the Top 6. Fellow Green County product April Houk shot an 83 in the second round and falls to sixth. 
 
Abigail Coffey, Cortney Withrow and Kendall Mills round out the top 5 for the Lady Tigers. Coffey improved in her second-round with an 82 to be tied for 15th. Withrow shot an 89, improving her second-round score by one shot, and is tied for 24th along with Mills, which shot a 93 on Tuesday. 
 
The Lady Tigers tee off on Wednesday in the final round of the championship at 8:50 a.m. ET with Mills teeing off first.
