Hall comes up clutch for the Lady Tigers in 1-0 double-overtime win against Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – Campbellsville University women's soccer went to their second-straight overtime game in Mid-South Conference play as the Lady Tigers this time got the golden goal for a 1-0 win over Georgetown College.

Forward Molly Hall came off the bench for the first time this season after starting all 13 previous games this season, but it did not deter the junior from scoring the game-winning goal in double overtime Saturday night against Georgetown.

Hall's goal came in the 106th minute and came off of an assist from Sangmin Cha for her ninth goal of the season and Cha's team-leading eighth assist of the year.

CU had absolute control of the game since halftime, outshooting GC 22-4 in the second half and both overtimes combined including 13 shots on goal during that time. The Lady Tigers also took all six corner kicks in the game but only in regulation as they were unable to cash in on those opportunities throughout the game.

Goalkeeper Katelyn Young had a strong effort in the win, keep the ball out of the net while she was tested a lot over the first 45 minutes, making four saves in the first half.

That was the final road game of the regular season for Campbellsville as they will enter the final week of the regular season coming up with home games against Lindsey Wilson College on Wednesday followed by Senior Day on Saturday against Cumberland University.
