Lady Tigers to hold senior day Saturday with kickoff at 1:30 p.m. ET

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Saturday afternoon, the Lady Tigers will look to close the regular season portion of their schedule as they host Cumberland University for senior day at 1:30 p.m. ET.
 
The match will be broadcasted live on the CU Sports Network starting at 1:15 p.m. ET as Zach Clements will be on the call. Fans can watch online at CampbellsvilleTigers.com/watch or stream the game on the Roku and Apple TV apps on their televisions.
 
SENIOR DAY
  • The Lady Tigers will be recognizing their seniors, Jordan Stallings, Rachel McWilliams, Lakin Walls, Olivia Montgomery, Kaylah Parks, and Olivia Mobley.
  • Senior day festivities will begin at approximately 1:10 p.m. ET.
  • Since 2016, this class has led the Lady Tigers to a 43-33-3 record.
  • Lakin Walls, Jordan Stallings, and Rachel McWilliams have all been four-year starters for CU.
  • In her tenure, Lakin Walls has marched her name up the Lady Tiger record board as she ranks fourth in career goals (35) and fifth in career points. Her career was highlighted by 20 goals and 46 points in 2018, where she ranks fourth and third in a single season.
  • Walls gas been named First Team and Second Team All-MSC, two-time MSC All-Academic Team, CoSIDA GOOGLE Cloud Academic All-District, NCCAA Scholar-Athlete, NAIA Scholar Athlete, CoSIDA Acaemic All-American, and First-Team NCCAA All-American.
  • Rachel McWilliams has been able to work her way up the all-time assist board as she has totaled 16 to rank fifth in career assists, with a high of eight during the 2018 season.
  • On the defensive side, Jordan Stallings has led the CU defense in her career as she has helped the team to 10 shutouts in 2016, as well as eight this season. She has been named a two-time MSC All-Academic team, NAIA Scholar Athlete, as well as an NCCAA First and Third-Team All-Americans.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • In their last match, the Lady Tigers fell to the eighth ranked Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders 1-0.
  • On a goal given up in the 80thminute, Sina Cavelti scored on a header from Kim DeGroot to push LWC past CU.
  • The Lady Tigers controlled the ball for a lot of the match, but the Blue Raiders finished the game with a 13-10 shot advantage.
 
SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
  • Cumberland University enters Saturday's match with an 11=5=1 record in the midst of a three game losing streak.
  • They have dropped their last three games to Lindsey Wilson, University of the Cumberlands, and Life University, where they lost each game by one goal.
  • Carla Hager leads the Phoenix offense with 10 goals on 48 shots, placing 33 on frame.

HISTORY VERSUS CUMBERLAND UNIVERSITY
  • Since 2008, Campbellsville and Cumberland have matched up 15 times, where the Lady Tigers hold a record of 2-11-2.
  • Their last meeting was last season, where the Lady Tigers dropped a 4-1 game.
  • Molly Hall recorded the only goal for Campbellsville off a dish from Lakin Walls.
 
MID-SOUTH CONFERENCE STANDINGS
  • Entering Saturday, the Lady Tigers and Cumberland University are tied for fourth in the MSC standings as they are 4-3 in MSC play.
  • If Campbellsville wins this match, the Lady Tigers will claim the fourth seed outright and will play the Phoenix in the first round of the MSC tournament.
  • If the Phoenix win, they will claim third in the final standings, and Campbellsville will finish fifth, drawing Thomas More in the first round of the tournament.
  • Lindsey Wilson has claimed the outright conference regular season title as they finished their season 8-0 in conference play.
 
The quarterfinals of the conference tournament will take place in Bowling Green, Ky. on Thursday, November 7th.
