No. 3 Lady Tigers meet Pikeville on Saturday to close regular season

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — The 2018-19 regular season is coming to a close for No. 3 Campbellsville women's basketball and the only opponent standing in the way of a perfect Mid-South Conference record is University of Pikeville.

The third-ranked Lady Tigers and Bears, who are receiving votes in the Top 25, tipoff on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET in the East Kentucky Expo Center. Coverage begins on the CU Sports Network starting at 1:45.

The Lady Tigers are looking for an unblemished Mid-South Conference record for the first time since 2009-10 and just the second time in program history.

Campbellsville is returning to the East Kentucky Expo Center this weekend – which is a familiar place for the Lady Tigers. CU played a pair of games against NAIA DII Top 25 programs in on Dec. 18-19 and one of the two losses on the year came to the University of Saint Francis in the UPIKE Classic.

The Lady Tigers will be back down in Pikeville next weekend as well for the Mid-South Conference Championship starting on March 1 and the championship game on March 4.
