Lady Tiger golf finishes fourth at Faulkner University Classic

PRATTVILLE, Ala. — Lady Tiger golf finished the Faulkner University Spring Invitational in fourth place after Tuesday's second round at Robert Trent Jones Trail at Capitol Hill. 
 
The Lady Tigers finished with scores of 333 and 334 in the two-round tournament to finish 40 strokes behind SCAD-Atlanta. 
 
The Bees outlasted the host Eagles by five strokes after team scores of 319-308 compared to 320-312 by Faulkner. 
 
Individually, Kyle Withrow led the Lady Tigers with an 11thplace finish. She shot 80-82 in the two rounds to finish 18-over overall. 
 
Freshman Paige Ferguson carded her best finish with scores of 83-81. Ferguson, who's highest finish was ## before this tournament, placed 12th– two strokes behind her teammate Withrow. 
 
Michaela Jarman finished in 16thplace with scored of 85-84, while Cortney Withrow shot 85-87 to place 18th
 
Genevieve Courtney from Thomas University fell off the pace big time on Tuesday. She shot an opening-round 70 on Monday but finished with an 82 on Tuesday. Hannah Sager of Faulkner University made up some ground with a plus-one 73 but fell in a playoff to Courtney. 
 
The Lady Tigers travel to the SCAD-Savannah for another invitational at Crosswinds Golf Club on Friday-Saturday, March 22-23.
