PIKEVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville men's basketball seniors Stephaun Adams, Andrew Smith and Hagen Tyler were named to the All-Mid South Conference First Team, conference officials announced Friday night at the post-season awards banquet.
 
The three players were in the top-six in points per game average in the conference all season as Adams finished second at 19.6 ppg, Tyler finished third at 19.0 ppg, and Smith finished sixth at 16.8 ppg. Each of them also started every single conference contest, averaging over 35 minutes per game.
 
Adams, the Tigers' leading scorer also led the conference in steals (71) and steals per game (2.45) while finishing second in the conference in assists (142) and assists per game (4.90) after leading the conference for most of the year.
 
Smith was a double-double machine throughout the season with 14, good for second in the conference, as he also averaged a double-double. He also narrowly finished in second place in rebounds per game at 10.69 on the season. On the defensive end he also was second in the MSC in blocks (50) and blocks per game (1.92) as he become CU's all-time leading shot blocker this season.
 
Tyler's 19 points per game was his best average in his four years at Campbellsville. The Danville, Ky. native moved into fourth all-time on the CU scoring list a week ago as Tyler's game was more about efficiency over volume. He was in the top 10 in both overall field goal percentage (52.6%) and three-point field goal percentage (46.0%).
 
Adams, Smith and Tyler will look to lead the Tigers to a Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship this weekend in Pikeville, as they hope to solidify a good enough resume to make the NAIA National Tournament.
