Ninth-ranked men's tennis comes from behind to beat Indiana Tech Warriors, 6-3

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville men's tennis had to rally in singles to overcome a 2-1 deficit to upend Indiana Tech on Tuesday afternoon at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex. 
 
The ninth-ranked Tigers lost two of the three doubles bouts but won five of the six singles matches to win 6-3 over the Warriors (6-9) to improve to 7-1 on the year. 
 
Cesar Castro and Matus Sevcik won at No. 3 doubles over Alvaro Gomez and Andres Leal, 8-4, but that was the only point CU could muster until singles. Then the Tigers dominated. 
 
In singles, CU dropped only four sets in total to pick up its second home win on the year. 
 
The Tigers will now host Asbury University on Wednesday at 2:30 and Olivet Nazarene University on Saturday at 12 p.m.
