Lady Tiger softball splits up series with Cumberland, moves doubleheader to Saturday, March 16

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — After having to cancel 14 softball games already this season, the Mid-South Conference announced teams can reschedule conference games for earlier dates and head coach Shannon Wathen has taken advantage.

The 16^th-ranked Lady Tigers were scheduled to play Cumberland University next weekend, March 22-23, but now Campbellsville and Cumberland will play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 16 at Hord Field and Veterans Memorial Park.

First pitch for the twin bill is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET. Unfortunately, due to the schedule change and national tournaments for men's and women's basketball, bass fishing and women's wrestling, a broadcast on the CU Sports Network will not be available.

The Lady Tigers and Phoenix are still scheduled to play next Saturday, March 23. First pitch is TBA.

A complete preview for Saturday's doubleheader will be posted on Friday afternoon.
