Lady Tigers finish in seventh at The Clash at Crosswinds hosted by SCAD-Savannah

SAVANNAH, Ga. — In the first tournament in over a month, Campbellsville women's golf finished in seventh place at The Clash at Crosswinds hosted by SCAD-Savannah.

Campbellsville shot 339-342 (681) in the two rounds and finished 47 strokes behind the team champion Faulkner University (634).

The Eagles claimed the playoff over Taylor University who also finished with a two-round total of 634.

Kylie Withrow led the Lady Tigers by placing in 17^thplace. The senior from Glasgow, Ky. shot 82-83 in the two rounds.

Fellow senior Michaela Jarman shot matching 84s in her two rounds to finish 28^th. Devany Cope and Paige Ferguson were behind Jarman by shooting 85-88 and 88-87, respectively. Cope placed solo 39^th, while Ferguson was tied for 40^th.

Cortney Withrow finished 54^thby shooting 97-96.

Taylor University's Nicole Jung won individual medalist honors with 75-72. She finished four strokes ahead of Faulkner's Hannah Sager by four strokes.

Fellow Mid-South Conference programs University of the Cumberlands and Cumberland University were also in the field. The Patriots finished third with scores of 320-321 (641) while Cumberland University fell off the pace on day two with 320-332 (652).

The Lady Tigers will now have their final tune up before the Mid-South Conference Championship as CU will compete in the MSC Spring Invitational on April 13-14 at Elks CC in Portsmouth, Ohio.
