Lady Tiger softball forced to change weekend series at Cumberlands; plays Thursday at 4:00

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Lady Tiger softball has been forced to change its upcoming Mid-South Conference series at the University of the Cumberlands this weekend.

Campbellsville will now travel to Cumberlands on Thursday, April 18 for a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m. ET.

Due to the inaugural Awards Night scheduled for Thursday evening, the games will not air on the CU Sports Network. University of the Cumberlands will provide a live broadcast and it will be linked in the preview later on Wednesday.

The forecast isn't looking promising this weekend and Campbellsville University is honoring the Easter holiday. Potential games could be played on Saturday if the weather clears or the final two games could be moved to Monday, April 22.

The Lady Tigers are still scheduled to travel to Shawnee State for the final two games of that road series on Wednesday, April 24 at 10 a.m. ET. CU is also scheduled to host Lindsey Wilson College next weekend for the regular season finale.

Campbellsville boasts a 28-7 record and is 14-4 inside Mid-South Conference play.
