Tiger tennis wins 5-0 over Pikeville, faces Lindsey Wilson on Friday night in MSC Semifinal

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — No. 19 Campbellsville men's tennis dominated University of Pikeville on Thursday night to advance in the Mid-South Conference Tournament Friday. 
 
The Tigers won 5-0 over the Bears and will now play Lindsey Wilson College tonight at 8 p.m. ET in Owensboro, Ky. at the Centre Indoor Tennis Complex. Due to weather, the championship match will be played next weekend in Bowling Green. 
 
Against Pikeville, the Tigers swept doubles action and only needed one win in singles to clinch since UPIKE only had five players competing. 
 
The deciding match came at No. 5 singles as Hercilio Cabieses won 6-0, 6-0 over Jorge Mejia. 
 
In doubles, Will True and Blayze O'Keefe teamed up to take down Eric Bernabeu and Juan Diego Medina, 8-3. Cesar Castro and Cristian Perez won at No. 2 doubles, 8-2, and the Tigers picked up a point by default in No. 3 doubles.
