Gailor and Adkins earn 2019 NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors with at least 3.5 GPAs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that 510 softball student-athletes have been named 2019 Daktronics-NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes.
 
Campbellsville University has two Lady Tigers earn the honor – Morgan Gailor and Dana Adkins
 
In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, be of at least junior standing and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.
 
Campbellsville finished its season in the NAIA Opening Round Championship for the second-straight season and third time in the last five years. The Lady Tigers went 35-15 overall.
