LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Campbellsville University men's soccer program got their 2019 season started on the right foot with a 12-0 trouncing of Boyce College on Thursday night.
The Tigers scored eight of their 12 goals in the first half followed by a four-spot in the second half. Senior
Gustavo Izzo came off the bench to record a hat trick, scoring three goals in only four shots during the game. CU also got two goals from
Haylen West and a goal apiece from seven other Tigers.
Campbellsville will return home to host the No. 1 team in the NAIA men's soccer rankings when Central Methodist comes to Finley Stadium this Sunday for a start time of 8 p.m. ET.
