CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.- After a solid weekend, finishing 3-1 at the MSC Crossover Challenge, Lady Tiger Volleyball will open the home portion of their schedule on Tuesday, playing host to Martin Methodist College at 7 p.m. ET. 
 
On the weekend, the Lady Tigers captured a trio of 3-0 sweeps over Loyola University, Union College, and Point University, while falling 1-3 to Reinhardt University. 
 
The Lady Tigers were led by 
Sutton Mason as she picked up 37 kills throughout the four weekend matches. 
Yelyzaveta Sharkova was also able to pick up 26 kills, 21 of which came on day two of the challenge. Sophomore setter 
Paige Merrick tallied 132 of the team's 159 total assists, while also picking up seven service aces and 16 kills on the weekend.
 
Martin Methodist participated in the Grace College Classic this past weekend and fell to 1-3 after three losses to open their season before a 3-0 win over Governors State University. Offensively, the Redhawks were led by Aerial Williams and Lauren Martin, each of which picked up over 30 kills on the weekend.
 
The last matchup between the Redhawks and Lady Tigers took place in 2017 as CU swept Martin Methodist 3-0. Campbellsville leads the overall record 7-3, winning each of the last six matches dating back to 2007.
 
This match is the first of a three game homestand for the Lady Tigers. After Tuesday's match the Lady Tigers will return to Gosser Gymnasium to play Goshen College on August 31
