CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – On Tuesday the Lady Tigers open up Mid-South Conference play as they close out a three-match home stand with a 7 p.m. ET matchup against the University of Pikeville.

Lady Tigers are roaring to start the new season
- Less than two weeks into the new year, the Lady Tigers have jumped off to a hot start recording a 5-1 record to start their 2019 campaign.
- During this span, outside of their four set loss to Reinhardt University, CU has only dropped one set.
Quick glance at CU's home stand
- In the past week, Campbellsville opened their home portion of the schedule with a 3-0 win over Martin Methodist College and 3-1 victory over Goshen College.
- Last time out versus Goshen, it was a slow start that led to a fall in set one before three quick set wins (25-15, 25-11, 25-17) gave the Lady Tigers the victory.
- Jaimie Thompson led to backrow as she picked up a season high 30 digs, while Sutton Mason led the Campbellsville attack with 15 kills.
- Sonia Flendrich and Paige Merrick tallied double-doubles as Flendrich picked up 11 kills and 11 digs, and Merrick recorded 50 assists and 13 digs.
History vs Pikeville
- Since 2005, the Lady Tigers are undefeated against the University of Pikeville, holding a record of 25-0 in that span.
- In the streak of 25 matches, the Lady Tigers have only dropped three sets, sweeping every match since Sept. 16, 2014.
Look at the Bears' season so far
- Seven matches into their season, the Bears hold a record of 4-3.
- Noelani Simpson has been the powerhouse for the Bears both offensively and defensively. She leads the team in both kills and digs as she has picked up 142 kills and 111 digs throughout their seven matches.

Mid-South Conference Preview
- Heading into Mid-South Conference play, Campbellsville was voted in a tie with Lindsey Wilson to win the 2019 conference title.

After Tuesday's match, the Lady Tigers will head to Pulaski, Tenn. for their second match of the season versus Martin Methodist College. That match will take place on Sept. 5 at 8 p.m. ET.
