CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Coming off of an even 2-2 split at their last weekend tournament of the season, the Campbellsville University women's volleyball team will get back to conference play Tuesday night against Thomas More University.
The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. ET in Crestview Hills, Ky. first serve as the Lady Tigers and Saints will play for the first time since TMU joined the MSC this season.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Lady Tigers went 2-2 over their four-game tournament at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill. on Friday and Saturday.
- CU earned wins in their first and fourth match of the tournament in a 3-1 win over Saint Xavier University and a 3-2 win over Olivet Nazarene.
- Their losses both came in five sets as they suffered a pair of 3-2 defeats to Judson University and No. 12 Columbia College.
- Setter Paige Merrick had a solid weekend statistically as she recorded a double-double with assists and digs in all but one match.
SCOUTING THOMAS MORE
- The Saints are 10-4 so far on the season with a 5-1 Mid-South Conference record to currently sit in a tie for first place in the conference with Lindsey Wilson.
- Most recently TMU is coming off of a 3-0 sweep win over Cumberland University last Friday night at home.
- Individually, Emily Mohs leads the way with 202 kills and a .284 hitting percentage.
- The setting responsibility is shared between Madison Read and Lizzie Schoenfeld with Read at 235 assists and Schoenfeld at 232 assists through 14 games.
LOOKING AHEAD
- CU will continue Mid-South Conference play this week and return home when they host Georgetown College at 7 p.m. ET at Gosser Gymnasium.
- That will start a three-match homestand over eight days when they will also host Shawnee State and Brescia next week.
