Lady Tigers begin a four-match week by visiting MSC foe Shawnee State on Monday

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – After a three-day road trip to Tennessee, the Lady Tigers will head north to Ohio for their first road Mid-South Conference match of the season.
 
Sitting at an overall 9-3 record, Campbellsville will be visiting the Shawnee State Bears (2-12) at 7 p.m. ET on Monday.
 
Quick recap of the trip to Tennessee
  • In the Lady Tigers road trip, they were able to pick up three wins in five matches after falling to Martin Methodist and Indiana University East.
  • Campbellsville travelled to Martin Methodist on Thursday and despite fighting with close sets, the Lady Tigers were swept for the first time this season.
  • Following the Martin Methodist game, the Lady Tigers travelled to Nashville to participate in the Music City Invite.
  • CU was able to pick up wins against Brewton-Parker, Freed-Hardeman, and Asbury throughout the invitational.
 
A glance into the Bears early season woes
  • Shawnee State enters Monday's match with a record of 2-12, losing each of their last five matches.
  • Their only wins came on August 31stas they captured two sweeps over Bluefield College and Rio Grande.

  • Since 2006, the Lady Tigers and Bears have matched up 19 times with Campbellsville picking up wins in 15 of those matches.

Mid-South Conference Review
