CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Coming off of their second-longest layoff between games of the season, the Campbellsville University women's basketball team will get back to the court this Thursday as they welcome Georgetown College to the Powell Athletic Center for a 6 p.m. ET tip.

The last time CU took to the court was last Thursday when they defeated University of the Cumberlands 79-68 as they trailed at halftime for the second-straight game and for the fourth time this season after going the first 14 games of the season with halftime leads or ties.

Sammy Rogers and stat stuffing nights from
Caitlin Hall and
Savannah Gregory to outscore the Patriots 44-32 in the second half to pull away with the 11-point victory.
SERIES FACTS
- Campbellsville is riding a current seven-game winning streak in the series that the Lady Tigers lead 77-25 over Georgetown as the two teams have been facing off since the 1970s.
- Head Coach Ginger High Colvin is 21-7 against Georgetown with the last loss she suffered coming in 2016 when Georgetown earned a win in the Powell Athletic Center by a final score fo 66-62.
- The two teams of Tigers traded wins in six-straight meetings between 2013 and 2014 before Campbellsville started a stretch of 12 wins in the last 13 matchups heading into Thursday's meeting.
SCOUTING GEORGETOWN
- The Tigers are in a three-team group inside the Mid-South Conference standings at 3-3 after a three-game losing streak against Shawnee State, Thomas More, and Life before earning a 78-75 win against Cumberland University last Saturday.
- Overall GC sits at 12-7 on the season so far with their longest winning streak of the season coming at six games from Nov. 26 to Jan. 4 before their most recent three-game losing streak.
- Madison Darnell has had a strong season so far as the second leading scorer for Georgetown at 9.7 points per game and leads the team in rebounding average at 6.8 rebounds per game.

- CU point guard, Caitlin Hall has scored double figures in three-straight games after scoring 11 points against the Patriots while coming off of two of her better scoring games of her career, tying her career-high 18 points against Pikeville (Jan. 9), then following it up with a 17-point game against Shawnee State.
- Sammy Rogers has been a quality secondary scoring option off the bench for the Lady Tigers as she's averaging 9.7 points per game this season, fourth-highest average on the team as used her outside shooting to provide some big buckets for CU against Cumberlands finishing with 15 points, five rebounds and two steals.
- Savannah Gregory has been a high energy member of the Lady Tigers throughout her career but as of late, she has picked up her rebounding especially, having a team-high in rebounds in three of the last four for CU, most recently putting up a 10-point, seven rebound, and seven steal performance against Cumberlands.
- Third quarter performance has been crucial for CU as they've outscored their opponents 490-288, by far their largest margin in any quarter. Even in their loss to Shawnee State, they outscored the Bears by 10 points in the third to pull within a one-point game heading into the fourth quarter.
- Rebounding has been a bit of a struggle for Campbellsville in their last two games, giving up back-to-back 45 rebound performances to Shawnee State and Cumberlands, which is the season high for a CU opponent this season. Each of those games were slightly different as the Bears recorded 18 offensive rebounds, tying a season-high mark for a CU foe as the Patriots grabbed 32 defensive rebounds, which is also a season-high for a CU opponent.

- Campbellsville is the No. 1 assisting team in NAIA Division I with a team total of 379 so far behind starting Hall's 115 assists, good for No. 3 individually in that category.
- Forcing turnovers has been a big part of the CU game plan this season as they force their opponents into 26.9 turnovers per game and rank first in NAIA DI in total steals at 310 and turnover margin at +10.8 this season.
- The three-point shot has been a big benefit for the Lady Tiger offense as they rank No. 3 in the NAIA in team three-point percentage at 38.0 percent behind one of the best three-point shooters in NAIA DI as Lexy Lake ranks No. 1 in total threes made (69), No. 4 in threes made per game (3.5), and No. 12 in three-point percentage (44.2%).
INDIVIDUAL MILESTONES WATCH
- Upper classmen in the CU starting lineup have been and will be climbing the all-time leader boards in the history of Lady Tiger basketball.
- Starting with Madison Faulkner joining the 1,000-point club, she now sits at 27th on the all-time scoring list and will likely have a teammate join her on that list as Savannah Gregory currently sits at 996 career points.
- Gregory is also in the top-five on the career steals list as she is currently at 287, recently passing Mackenzie Lee for fourth all-time.
- Senior Caitlin Hall currently has 536 career assists, recently becoming the sixth player to reach 500 assists in program history.
1,000-WIN PLATEAU
- In the 45th season of Lady Tiger basketball history, Campbellsville reached a milestone that had only been accomplished twice before in the history of NAIA women's basketball, win 1,000 games as a program.
- The monumental win came in the Lady Tigers 91-59 win over Martin Methodist College last Saturday in Pulaski, Tenn. as part of the MSC/SSAC Crossover.
- Campbellsville joins Wayland Baptist and Union University (Tenn.) as the only other programs to reach the feat as Union is no longer part of the NAIA after moving to the NCAA Division II level.
