GREENVILLE, S.C. – Following her second win of the season, Campbellsville University women's golfer
Gracie Parrott also earned her second NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week honor, the NCCAA announced Monday afternoon.
Parrott shot a tournament-best 77 (+5) at Campbellsville Country Club last Monday at the Campbellsville Fall Invite to win the tournament outright. She won the tournament by two strokes as she bested competitors from Lindsey Wilson, Thomas More, and her own teammates to earn her second win in the fall of 2020.
Her win at the Blue Raider Invitational earlier this year also led to another NCCAA weekly honor as she shot matching scores of 76 at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson to win the fall opening tournament to win by a single stroke.
The Lady Tigers ranked No. 17 in the first NAIA GolfStat rankings of 2020-21 with Parrott ranking No. 17 in scoring average with an 18-hole 76.79 mark. The Lady Tigers enter the week at a relative percentage of 83.6% and have a comparative record of 88/102 to be ranked as the second-highest team in the Mid-South Conference with two tournament wins.
The Lady Tigers are scheduled to compete against the rest of the MSC field at the Fall Championship hosted at Bowling Green Country Club on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 30-31.
