GREENVILLE, S.C. – A great start that gets even better for Campbellsville University women's golfer
Gracie Parrott as Parrott was named the NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Year Monday afternoon.
Parrott carded scores of 76 (+4) in both of her rounds at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson Golf Course last Friday as she was able to win the event as an individual while also leading the Lady Tigers to a team victory.
The Greensburg, Ky. native earned a one-stroke victory over Katie Biddlecome of Lindsey Wilson as the Lady Tigers edged out the Blue Raiders by a slim margin of five total team strokes.
This marks the third time that Parrott has won a collegiate tournament in her two seasons and the third time she will collect the NCCAA's weekly honor after two wins and two NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week recognitions in 2019-20.
Parrott and the Lady Tigers are currently competing at the Music City Invitational hosted by Cumberland University as the two-day tournament will conclude tomorrow at Twelve Stones Golf Club.
