CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Last playing on Nov. 9, the Campbellsville University women's basketball team will return to the court for the first time in a month on Wednesday evening when they host Brescia at the Powell Athletic Center for a 5 p.m. tip.
The Lady Tigers had either cancelled or postponed six games between their home game against Union and now as they started 2-0 on the season with a pair of 100-point games in wins against the Bulldogs and West Virginia Tech.
The game between the Bearcats and the Lady Tigers was moved from Dec. 14 to its current date to help CU accommodate an adjustment to their Mid-South Conference schedule.
As per the latest Campbellsville University Athletics protocol, no outside spectators will be allowed to attend the game.

DYNAMIC DUO
- Though the Lady Tigers have been a rather dominant on the offensive end, shooting over 54 percent from the field and having five players averaging double figures, the first two games have shown the offensive attack is led by seniors Savannah Gregory and Sammy Rogers.
- Gregory is averaging 20 points per game through the first two contests scoring 19 points against West Virginia Tech and 21 against Union, playing under 20 minutes in both games.
- Rogers is not far behind Gregory's offensive output at a 17.5 points per game average with Rogers dropping 19 against WVUT and 16 against Union as she is able to use her combination of size at 6-0 along with her outside shooting ability to be a tough matchup for defenders.
- Both Gregory and Rogers have taken the same amount of shots at 23 on the season with Gregory knocking down 73.9 percent of her shots and Rogers making two fewer shots so far at 65.2 percent as both players have made three shots from three-point range as well.
- The impact of the two seniors comes beyond the offensive end as both hold down a potent CU defense with Gregory tied for the team lead at six steals and Rogers being a strong rim protector and a quality perimeter defender with her length and athleticism.
SCOUTING BRESCIA
- The Bearcats are winless so far on the season through six games as they've matched up with four other Mid-South Conference teams in Freed-Hardeman, Bethel, Lindsey Wilson, and Shawnee State.
- Brescia has struggled offensively through six games shooting at a 34 percent clip while averaging 51.5 points per game and their only playing averaging double figures being Cassidy Moss as she leads the Bearcats in points per game (11.2) and rebounds per game (6.0).
LOOKING AHEAD
